Prom is a time to celebrate with friends and family. A time to reflect on the long journey and get hyped up for what comes next. It is also a time to flex, to flaunt and stand out from the already crowded room; to let everyone know who you are and what you stand for. This year Men’s Wearhouse gives it up to those who rewrite the rulebook, ditch all ill-fitting expectations and shift the played-out fashion paradigm. In other words—to Prom As You Are.
This year we are highlighting real people attending prom for real, so we are happy to introduce you to best friends Tay and Trevon. As dancers, Tay and Tre know that when it comes to fashion—as in life—it’s all about balance. Flow equals form. To that end, both Tay and Tre wanted to close it out in looks that were both sophisticated and in step with their individual tastes.
The result? Trevon went bold with the Egara Orange burgundy suit, while Tay went a bit more classic in a Joseph Abboud navy satin-edged notch lapel tux.

Whether you’re out on the floor or going for dinner, it’s all about being comfortable in your prom getup. The right color, fit and style can make all the difference as the night gets going. On one hand, the Egara Orange burgundy suit offers max comfort in an look that is at home in any scenario. The on-trend color scheme matched with somber highlights make for an ensemble that complements as it contrasts. On the other hand, the Joseph Abboud navy tux cuts a sharp figure against any backdrop. Luxurious wool textures and deep blue hues work in harmony to create a sleek frame at every angle.
If you’re looking for a style that can keep up with your every movement and look the part, we highly recommend either of these smooth lines.
