Men's Wrinkle Resistant Dress Shirts

Frequently Asked Questions

How should a men's dress shirt fit, and how do I find my neck and sleeve size?

The collar should close with room for two fingers, the shoulder seams should sit at the edge of your shoulders, and the cuffs should end at the base of your thumb. To find your size, measure around your neck just below the Adam's apple, then from the center back of your neck, over the shoulder, to your wrist bone.

What is the difference between neck and sleeve sizing and S, M, L sizing?

Neck and sleeve sizing gives two exact measurements in inches, such as 16/34-35, so the collar and cuff fit precisely. S, M and L sizing groups several neck and sleeve sizes together. That works for casual shirts, but it is less exact for a shirt you button to the top and wear with a tie.

How many dress shirts should a man own for a five-day office week?

Five is the practical minimum: a fresh shirt each day and one wash a week. Start with two white, two light blue and one in a pattern or second color. Seven gives you a buffer for laundry and for events outside work.

What are the different types of dress shirts for men?

Dress shirts differ by fit (skinny, slim, modern, classic, athletic), collar (spread, point, button-down), cuff (barrel or French), fabric (cotton, blends, stretch) and finish (non-iron). Formal shirts for black tie add wing collars and pleated or bib fronts.
