Kicking It Off in D.C.

There's no better place to start inspiring the country to donate the suits off their backs than in our nations capital. For the past five years, Men's Wearhouse and the American League of Lobbyists have partnered to facilitate one of the largest one-day professional clothing drive collection events. In four hours, over 10,000 items of gently used men's and women's professional clothing are gathered in the Rayburn House Office Building in Washington D.C. Constituents on Capitol Hill are encouraged to donate their professional clothing to benefit the unemployed and underprivileged men and women in the D.C. area. The clothing is distributed to multiple nonprofit organizations like Covenant House Washington, Career Gear D.C. at NAFFCCA, and New Endeavors by Women. These organizations are dedicated to providing the job training and wardrobing services their clients need in order to move towards self-sufficiency.
