Functional and decorative
When you have stubble, tissues shred, so you need a handkerchief, and they might as well look nice enough to show. I bought a set of these each in blue, red, and black, because I can find at least one of those colors somewhere in every one of my ties. Cotton pocket squares/handkerchiefs are actually useful on the rare occasion that one needs a hankie, because you can toss them right in the washing machine, unlike silk squares. Some info not in the product listing: They are 14x14 inches and actually have hemmed (not merely rolled) edges. Reasonable thickness, and time will tell how they stand up to repeated laundering. Made in China, but for this price, that's to be expected these days.
