Egara Khaki Nylon Messenger Bag is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Travel Companion I was looking for a messenger bag that could fit my essentials without looking like a man purse. This one is perfect, as it looks like a laptop bag. I really like that the folding flap reaches all the way to the bottom of the bag, which gives it a classic, non-man purse look. The dark blue color, nylon construction, and lack of exterior pockets also help keep it masculine. The interior is nicely separated with a large compartment for storing a laptop (I used it for my MBP and an iPad 2), as well as a second large compartment for various other stuff. It has a couple pockets for storing little knick knacks, and also has a zippered compartment. The bag uses magnets to keep itself closed, rather than velcro or straps, which is nice. The magnets are just strong enough to keep it closed, but if the bag is filled too much, they can come unbuttoned. The strap itself is comfy and adjustable for a great fit. The bag is a little larger than I wanted initially, but it's perfect for carrying around lots of stuff on travel days. I carried it through four airports on my last trip and it performed perfectly. It's very spacious inside. On my trip, it held the following: - 13.3'' Macbook Pro - iPad 2 - 6 mechanical watches in a rolled travel pouch - 2 pens - Charger for iPhone and iPad - Spare USB charger - 1 bag of beef jerky - 1 small box of jelly beans - 1 small box of Almond Rocca - 1 bag of edamame trail mix - 1 bottle of water - Various paperwork (In back pocket) - Beats by Dre headphones clipped to exterior strap ring  All in all, this bag was great for it's first trip. Time will tell how it holds up, but I only need it for travel every now and then, so it should last me a while. I recommend this for somebody looking for a good travel companion that can hold a lot of stuff while not looking like a man purse.
