HOW TO LOOK GREAT
IN CASUAL WEAR

Whether you're at work, on a date, or hitting a party, looking casual, confident and put together is easier than you think. The most appealing guy in the room isn't necessarily the flashiest dresser; it's the guy who owns his own look and is comfortable in his style.

Sport Shirts

The sport shirt is a casual alternative to the dress shirt, while still sending a polished image. Sport shirts come in both short and long sleeve. Generally, the shorter the sleeves and wider the sleeve opening, the more informal the shirt is. Patterns, colors and textures run the gamut from subtle to bold. For long-sleeve sport shirts, slimmer fit (less billowing fabric) is the current trend, but there are a variety of fits to suit your style and body type.

Pants & Shorts

Casual pants can be either pleated or flat front – currently, flat front is the more popular choice. If you are going to wear jeans, dark wash is dressier than light wash, and they need to fit correctly: not too tight, not too baggy. Shorts can be chino, chambray, cotton or linen. In general, avoid wearing shorts that you'd also wear to the gym.
